John Greed Jewellery are licensed credit brokers and only offers credit products from Secure Trust Bank PLC trading as V12 Retail Finance. Our registration number is 644995 and we are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Credit provided is subject to age and status. We are happy to offer a variety of finance options to our customers. With repayment terms from 6, 9, 12, & 18 months. All finance orders are subject to a minimum deposit of 10% which will be taken from your Debit/Credit Card by our partner V12 once your application has been approved and confirmed. Please note: We are only able to offer Finance applications via our desktop website.

  • You must be between the ages of 18 and 85*
  • Work at least 16 hours a week, or be retired with an income
  • You must also be a permanent resident of the United Kingdom and have lived in the UK for the last three years or more (Unfortunately, online finance cannot be offered to residents of Eire).
  • Homemakers are not excluded from making applications under their own names.

Please select finance as your payment method where you will be redirected to payment provider to complete your finance application. You will be required to fill in your details accordingly and they will assess your credit application and give a decision on approval.

You can pay off your balance or make an over-payment at any time without paying any extra charges.

If your online application is received between 9am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank & Public holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, or 10am and 5pm on Sunday then in the majority of cases, you will receive a decision within a matter of minutes. If you submit your application outside of these hours, then you will likely receive a response the next working day. You will be sent an email to confirm the status of your application as soon as it has been processed.

Within minutes of your application being approved, you'll be asked to accept the terms of the contract - once you select YES you will return to the checkout and will proceed through to the completion of your order following which your order will be dispatched for home delivery. Following completion, you will receive an email with a link to download a copy of your credit agreement for your records

Credit scoring is the process used by financial services companies to evaluate the credit risk of new applicants. This technique will be applied to your application for online finance. Credit scoring works by awarding points for each answer given on the application form such as age, income and occupation, together with information obtained from credit reference agencies. This information allows us to produce consistent decisions, ensuring all our applicants are treated fairly. Credit scoring does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, race, religion, disability or colour.

No, we can only deliver goods to the home address of the applicant.

To ensure your chosen products are correctly delivered to you, if you need to change your order in anyway, it will be necessary to cancel your order and enter a new order. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you've already received confirmation of approval for online finance via John Greed Jewellery and you then decide to change your order, the finance decision will stand from your original application but only if the order value has not increased. If however, you then go on to make subsequent orders funded via online finance, each order will be require a new finance application and will be processed in the normal way.

No, your goods are allocated to the order only when your eSigned agreement is confirmed and the 10% deposit processed. Please note the deposit cannot be paid using Paypal.

In addition to credit scoring, confirmation of your identity, validation of certain application details, existing commitments and information held at the credit reference agencies are all taken into account. Though you will not be provided with a main reason for the decline of your application, it is usually based on one, or a combination of the following:
  • Your credit score (note that every finance company will score you differently)
  • Adverse credit reference agency information
  • You are considered to be overcommitted
  • You are aged under 18
  • Your existing account performance with other lenders

Some of the information is public information, for example electoral roll, County Court Judgements and bankruptcies. Other lenders may also file information about accounts you hold with them for instance this could include your payment history and outstanding balance on these accounts. Any requests for credit, where a credit reference search has been undertaken, will also be filed, although the result of the request is not recorded.

Yes, at least three months after a previous application. We acknowledge that your circumstances can change and because a previous application has been refused, it does not mean that a further applications will automatically turned down.
