The inside of the ring is curved which makes it more comfortable and also easier to take off and on, (court or comfort fit).
Please note: Tungsten rings are so incredibly hard that they can crack. This is usually if they are dropped onto a tiled floor (which itself is very hard) and/or if the ring has been engraved (which concentrates the stress).
