Human Resources Manager

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled HR manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of Company strategy and objectives. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and facilities management services


Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain pay plan, benefits program, and conduct annual salary reviews
  • Assess training needs and develop appropriate training programs

Skills and Person Specification:
  • 3 years+ working experience as an HR manager
  • Human Resources related qualifications (relevant degree desirable)
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Experience of dealing with disciplinary procedures
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of Employment Law and HR best practices
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Able to respond to and effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, email etc.
  • Able to observe and protect confidentiality when dealing with commercially sensitive information and personal HR information and records
  • Excellent communications skills at all levels

PANDORA Assistant Manager

Job Purpose:

Effectively assist in managing the day-to-day operation in a fast paced luxury brand environment, delivering an exceptional customer service experience in the PANDORA concept store. You will support the Store Manager in motivating the team to achieve high KPI performance, maximising sales and meeting agreed sales targets and help create a happy working environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Brand Ambassador

  • Deputise for the Store Manager at all times.
  • Ensure all store standards are maintained to a consistently high standard as per PANDORA guidelines.
  • Ensure all employees are presentable & are following the PANDORA Style Guide.
  • Ensure all employees are effective brand ambassadors and wear current PANDORA jewellery.

Commercial

  • Work with Store Manager to drive store performance.
  • Review KPI performance weekly and suggest ideas to improve this.
  • Support PANDORA Incentive Calendar & store incentives to drive this.
  • Ability to complete the PANDORA weekly Trade Report.
  • Support effective staff scheduling according to the peak trade periods of the day and week.
  • Ensure that PANDORA VM guidelines are strictly adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure that all VM is reflecting store & PANDORA bestsellers at all times.
  • Reconcile all daily transactions.
  • Manage cash, card and gift card purchases.
  • Manage gift card process and ensure all employees receive gift card training.
  • Ensure banking process is completed accurately at the end of each day and adhere to security procedures in respect to this.
  • Adhere to company security, loss and prevention procedures in order to minimise loss.
  • Support agreed stock count schedule & deliver agreed shrinkage target.

Sales Leader

  • Ensure PANDORA Way of Selling is adhered to by all employees.
  • Support the PANDORA Mystery Shopper programme in store.
  • Manage weekly service observations to ensure consistently high standards of service and selling.
  • Process all customer returns as per PANDORA guidelines and ensure that the customer is fully updated.
  • Manage all customer complaints so issues are resolved promptly and appropriately.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of how to deal with customer returns and complaints effectively.

Coach

  • Support the recruiting of the right people for the right job at the right time.
  • Support the coaching and development of the team to ensure they have the knowledge and skills required to work productively, deliver excellent service and promote the brand.
  • Take every opportunity to develop your own skills and knowledge to improve your own team and store performance.
  • Manage the team’s performance in an objective and consistent manner.
  • Attend all core PANDORA training courses at a PANDORA training centre.
  • Attend bi-annual PANDORA Roadshow training.
  • Support all PANDORA training at a store level
  • Support the overall store PANDORA POD %.

General

  • Ensure jewellery cabinets and safe are kept locked at all times.
  • Ensure bag checks are carried out daily.
  • Support all aspects of Health and Safety in stores and practice safe working methods at all times.
  • Ensure all furniture is well maintained and any repairs or replacements are ordered/reported promptly.
  • Ordering of PANDORA packaging in line with guidelines to ensure optimum levels at all times.

Skills and Person Specification:
  • Minimum 3 years Store Management experience with a leading retailer or luxury goods brand
  • Proven track record of delivering high performing KPI’s.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment and provide exemplary customer service throughout the sales team.
  • Excellent people management skills and effective leadership and training experience.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Impeccably presented and a PANDORA brand ambassador.
  • Well organised with sound financial and analytical skills and experience
  • Ability to handle difficult situations calmly
  • Understanding and familiarity with retail legislation
  • Experience of retail security issues
  • Excellent IT skills

Graphics & Photography Manager (Maternity Cover)

Job Purpose:

To manage and develop the creative function within a thriving ecommerce company, ensuring fresh, original images and designs are produced in line with the company’s values and corporate brand. To manage and coordinate the creative team; working in partnership with other departments to ensure all visuals across web, retail and all channels are produced to a high quality and on time.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the graphics team effectively to ensure all deadlines and KPIs are met or exceeded
  • Ensure that each project is effectively managed from initial brief to delivery
  • Ensure that all creative output is of a consistently high professional standard and quality
  • To interpret creative briefs and be responsible for providing concept ideas and mood boards
  • Ensure all web graphics, including website banners and static pages, social network imagery and marketing emails are appropriate to the brand and have a consistent look and feel
  • Ensure that the brand look and feel of the website is maintained, through coding in HTML/CSS where necessary
  • Manage the upload process of promotional and brand graphics via the website CMS
  • Promptly and accurately update the website in line with the marketing calendar

  • Experience of managing and delivering projects within budget and on time

Junior Data Analyst

Job Purpose:

To assist the team in providing timely, accurate and relevant information to assist all areas of the business to meet KPIs and maximise profitability. Assist with the day to day database support requirements as required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure delivery of timely and relevant business information to drive performance improvement and efficiency across all areas of the business.
  • Establish fundamental data validation processes to ensure the accuracy of information provided to the business.
  • Establish a basic understanding of the key commercial, operational and financial areas of the business to aid in delivering relevant information when requested.
  • Take ownership of basic daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting across the business.
  • Developing basic ad hoc reports to support the team where required.
  • Maintain and monitor data quality to highlight any potential issues.
  • Be able to resolve basic data issues where possible, or escalate swiftly for resolution.
  • Gain a good understanding of the reporting systems used, to ensure you are able to answer basic queries relating to the information prepared.
  • Liaise with the team to ensure user requests are logged via an appropriate tracking system in order to monitor and respond within an SLA.
  • Maintain best practice awareness in relation to data manipulation and information delivery techniques to maximise efficiency.

  • Being able to interpret and analyse data at a basic level.
  • A logical and methodical approach to working.
  • Commercially focused individual with keen attention to detail.
  • Confident, creative problem solver capable of working on own initiative within agreed guidelines and to agreed time frames.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey financial information to non-finance individuals at all levels within the company.

  • Experience in the use of Sage 200 preferred but not essential.
